Other Kinds of Gifts
TSTC gladly accepts and receives gifts of cash
and equipment. In addition, there are other gifts which some individuals
like to make. Please review the list below for your gift interest
and contact the person listed.
Honorary and Memorial Gifts
A gift in honor/memory of a loved one, friend,
or acquaintance is a considerate and generous way of recognizing
someone dear to you. When you make an honorary or memorial gift,
please accompany the gift with a note specifying the honoree’s
name. We will oversee your donation seeing that it is administered
as you wish and, if appropriate, we will send a note acknowledging
the gift to an appropriate living family member. Please send your
honorary or memorial gift to the location of your choice. The contact
information for the resource development officers is provided at
the end of this page.
Real Estate
If you donate real estate as an immediate gift,
your gift provides you with a charitable deduction. TSTC will evaluate
all real estate for its usefulness and/or marketability and for
any potential environmental concerns. For more information, please
contact Tara Odom. Her contact information is provided at the end
of this page
Wills
Bequests to TSTC may be deducted from your taxable
estate. A simple way to accomplish this is by executing a codicil
(amendment) to your will. This simple signed, dated, and witnessed
paragraph will be attached to your will without having to redraw
the original. An amount, percentage, or remainder can be designated
for TSTC and a purpose can also be stipulated for the use of the
bequest. Please contact Tara Odom. Her contact information is provided
at the end of this page.
Life Insurance
A donation of one’s life insurance policy
is both superbly generous and quite beneficial for both parties
involved. Here are some examples:
- Assign TSTC as the owner and beneficiary of a policy that is
paid in full.
- Assign TSTC as the owner and beneficiary of a policy that is
NOT paid in full and your policy's value, as well as your annual
payments, may be tax deductible.
Please contact your insurance agent, attorney,
and/or Tara Odom. Her contact information is provided at the end
of this page.

and bonds) to TSTC. Please consult with your tax advisor for details.

and public scrutiny of probate. Your attorney, accountant or financial
advisor can provide more details. Then, contact Tara Odom. Her contact
